SUMMARY: We are seeking a Systems Integration Manager to oversee the successful design and implementation of integrated solutions from initial sales design through project delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring all functional and performance-related aspects of a solution meet quality standards and adhere to established processes, including those involving third-party products.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
Extensive experience leading and managing large project teams
Proven track record in a leadership role on high-complexity, high-value projects
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to manage effectively at all organizational levels
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Formal Project Management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, or other recognized methodologies)
Willingness and ability to travel internationally, including the UK and Europe, ideally up 50% with a 4-month training Abroad
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in the engineering automation industry
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the daily implementation of resources to ensure project scope is delivered as specified.
Manage commercial and technical risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure project objectives are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Define and uphold quality expectations and targets.
Act as the primary contact for quality assurance, maintaining project registers and master files.
Lead the project team and oversee the execution of the project management process.
Establish project scope, deliverables, structure, roles, and responsibilities.
Develop and maintain an integrated project plan, coordinating workstream schedules.
Organize project meetings and establish effective communication channels.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation or contingency plans.
Address project issues promptly to ensure minimal impact on timelines and budgets.
Ensure adherence to reporting and financial control processes.
Serve as the primary customer interface, managing expectations and approvals.
Oversee scope, timeline, and budget adjustments in collaboration with stakeholders.
Provide regular project status reports to management.
Manage project resources and costs within approved budgets and timelines.
Support the development of project management best practices and service offerings.
Mentor and coach other project managers as needed.
Oversee multiple projects within a portfolio, ensuring successful completion and handover.
Define and clarify client test and success criteria.
Provide direction and support to project teams to drive successful execution.
Ensure full compliance with company-wide reporting and documentation requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to remain stationary at a desk for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to go to site frequently and move safely around industrial and/or warehouse environment.
Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds at a time.
Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other electronic devices.
Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing, on a frequent basis.
Ability to tolerate exposure to job site temperature fluctuations due to seasonal weather in geographic region.
