We have partnered with a leading Concrete organisation to recruit for a Vice President to join their organization. This role is responsible for the management and P&L of the Concrete / Ready Mix operations.

Responsibilities:
- Drive the regional strategy and business plans, optimizing profitability and resources.
- Lead all sales, marketing, operations, safety, materials, land management and environment.
- Business partner with other members of the business and senior leaders across different regions.
- Help to drive the long-term growth of the business.
- Manage production and sales of 10 operations.
- Oversee the development and execution of a top-tier safety program aimed at delivering exceptional results, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving profitability.
- Coordinate the activities related to safety, financial accounting, sales, operations, and production within the assigned area.
- Develop systems and initiatives that align with core values such as ethics, safety, environmental sustainability, and the prioritization of employee well-being.
- Manage all costs and oversee the capital budget for the assigned area, ensuring financial efficiency.
- Ensure responsible management of the company’s assets, maintaining a high standard of stewardship.
- Enforce and support the adherence to all corporate accounting policies and procedures.
- Lead the creation and execution of a business strategy tailored to the specific needs of the area.
- Identify operational gaps and areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Lead business development efforts and analyze potential acquisitions to support growth.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of operational activities.
- Execute plans to achieve the district's goals, maximizing operational performance.
- Provide strategic leadership across operations and sales, ensuring alignment with divisional and company-wide objectives and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Minimum Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Mining, or Civil Engineering
- 7 to 15 years of industry related experience in managing multiple production sites
- 7 years’ experience in financial reporting, budgeting and planning in a construction environment.
- Prior or current experience within the Ready Mix / Concrete market is a necessity for this role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities & extensive overnight travel
- Strong sales/customer service and market development skills, and the ability to lead and generate a strategic operating analysis
- Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
