COMMERCIAL STRATEGY INTERN
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Commercial Strategy Intern will be responsible for supporting the team with long-term projects as well as daily tasks and duties. They will collaborate and communicate with cross-functional partners to meet the team's needs throughout the internship. The ideal applicant for this position is an individual who communicates clearly and effectively, displays a strong work ethic, and has a drive to learn.
- Duration: 10-week paid internship (M-F, 9-6 PM)
- Dates: June 2th to August 8th for all interns
- Pay Rate: $17/hour
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage distribution databases and mapping for all channels at the door level: add new doors, update door codes, check store addresses, add segmentation.
- Track order taking by release and analyze performance by segment: Men/Women Vista/Sun.
- Prepare weekly new door request form: collect relevant information from Brand Ambassadors.
- Monitor and analyze competition: distribution, new product launches, top sellers.
- Collect, report and analyze sell out of top optical accounts monthly.
- Prepare US Department Stores quarterly sell out report.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
PROFILE
Seeking a degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a relevant field
- Available to work 40 hours/week throughout the duration of the Summer Internship
- Comfortable working in Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge of luxury, fashion, retail specialty or wholesale environment preferred
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to maintain a high standard of confidentiality
- Can work independently and be a team player while maintaining a professional attitude
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize/time-manage, and be highly detail-oriented
- Legally authorized to work in the US before first day of employment
