Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide crucial support in various litigation matters and ensure the smooth operation of our legal proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations
- Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Organize and maintain case files and evidence
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts
- Manage document review and production processes
- Utilize legal case management software for efficient workflow
- Transcribe dictations and interviews accurately
Requirements
- Proficiency in Clio or similar legal software is preferred
- Experience in transcribing legal documents and interviews
- Strong background in executive administrative support within a legal setting
- Familiarity with document management systems and legal administrative procedures
- Knowledge of Personal Injury and Probate procedures is a plus
- Ability to efficiently file and organize legal documents
- Prior experience in legal case management and document review is essential

About the role: Our firm’s paralegals are an integral part of our team as they assist in all aspects of cases, interact with clients on a daily basis, and serve as the face of our practice. We are seeking an experienced paralegal in the area of personal injury and probate to assist two attorneys.
Key responsibilities:
- Daily telephone interaction with clients
- Interaction with adjusters and counsel
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings and discovery
- Drafting Freedom of Information requests
- Preparing settlement demand packages
- Maintaining schedules and deadlines
- Requesting and reviewing medical records
- Organizing medical records and preparing medical record summaries
- Federal and state E-filings
- Maintenance and organization of client files.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Minimum five years’ experience
- Thorough understanding of the litigation process
- Team oriented with excellent written and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
