Food Runner Job Description
- Deliver food and dishes to tables in a timely and safe manor
- Being personable with guests
- Stocking food as needed
- Organizing and cleaning expo station as needed
- Knowledge of the food and beer, specials, happy hour, hours, location, directions
- Helping buss/clear tables as needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Certification Skill and Abilities:
- Must be able to Speak, Read and write proficiently in English. Must be self starting, exhibit excellent communication skills, work independently and be able to work well in a fast paced environment.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to walk and/or stand and sit for long periods throughout the day
- Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel
- Must be able to reach and twist occasionally
- Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionally
- Must have the ability to independently lift 25 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
Working Environment
Office, restaurant and off-site venues for catering and events. May have loud music or noise and warm and cold conditions. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays.
