Position Summary This is a remote position within USA. Key Areas of Responsibility Provide Technical expertise to external and internal customers: Provide Subject matter expertise in a highly specialized areas of Smartcards, MULTOS, EMV, PKI, ID, smartcard issuance systems and other smartcard related systems and processes Technical consultancy on EMV projects: analysis of issuer’s requirements and preparation of EMV application templates, test cards & assistance with card certifications Provide training: Deliver technical consultancy and training modules targeted at smartcard issuers, industry associates & equipment vendors, application developers and/or manufacturing partners to facilitate issuance of MULTOS cards in the key industry applications areas such as banking and ID. Preparation of test cards, application templates and assistance with tools Post-sale support: Expedite resolution of customer-related issues by providing 1st level technical support and troubleshooting, remotely via email or phone and on site, as required, to assist customers with MULTOS product rollout and use Assist with project planning and management of regional MULTOS product rollouts on behalf of issuers and/or associated partners/bureaus Technical input to sales proposals, Development of technical presentations, and other product technical documentation – such as product data sheets, training modules, technical FAQ, etc. Participation in product reviews, and input to specification of new MULTOS products Maintain expert knowledge of our product range and complementary products including dataprep, personalization tools, card management systems and associated equipment. Coordinating team technical support activities for the regional customers Minimum Requirements Hands on experience in the smartcard, payment industry or a related field Hands on experience with smartcard products, tools, technical standards, banking applications standards A good understanding and experience with smartcard issuance processes and systems knowledge of cryptographic systems and techniques Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills Teaching and coaching skills Driven and proactive personality capable to work independently and as a part of the team Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work with a wide variety of business and cultural environments Preferred Qualifications Multi-lingual – English (and Spanish as a PLUS) Skills and Abilities: 3 years of experience with smartcards and EMV payment applications and industry 3 years of experience in Customer Technical Support role Education: Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Computer Engineering #LI-WM1 #LI-Remote This position will require successfully completing a post-offer background check.
