Austin, TX., (US), Remote Position Summary Thales requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Apprentice to join our innovative team focused on Generative AI and Cloud technologies. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to cutting-edge projects at the forefront of AI development. You will work alongside experienced engineers, learning and applying skills in areas such as machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and cloud computing. This apprenticeship offers a unique chance to develop valuable expertise in a rapidly evolving field while contributing to impactful projects. Key Areas of Responsibility  Assist in the development and implementation of generative AI models and algorithms.  Support the deployment and scaling of AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).  Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines for AI model training and evaluation.  Participate in the development of software tools and applications leveraging generative AI.  Assist in conducting research and experiments to explore new generative AI techniques and applications.  Collaborate with team members to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize AI models.  Learn and apply best practices for software development, testing, and deployment in a cloud environment.  Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in generative AI and cloud technologies. Minimum Qualifications  Skills: Basic understanding of programming concepts and algorithms. Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java). Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.  Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
