Position Summary
Thales requires a Quality Inspector to contribute to the process operations of the department by working both individually and within a team for the manufacturing of RFID inlays.

Schedule: 2nd shift 3:00-11:00pm Monday through Friday
Physical:
Must be able to sit and/or stand throughout the day.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
Must be able to perform repetitive motion with wrists, hands and fingers for up to 6 hours per day.

Position Summary
Thales requires a Quality Inspector to contribute to the process operations of the department by working both individually and within a team for the manufacturing of RFID inlays.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Review , qualify, validate and follow QA procedures. QA Inspection of products at various process stages. Visually inspecting product.
- QA inspection buy-off for physical dimension. Testing of product to ensure product meets or exceeds required standards. Continuously sampling of various process to assure quality standard are followed.
- Investigate and report production line failures. Responsible to inspect outgoing product and shipments are properly packaged. Responsible to capture and maintain all quality records.
- Responsible to perform Incoming inspection and maintain such records. Process improvement(s) projects. Performs work, makes measurements and documents results in accordance with written work instructions.
- Additional duties as assigned by Quality Assurance Manager/Supervisor.
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required
- Post high school education (Associate degree) preferred
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien required
- Ability to submit and successfully pass a government background check, credit check, and drug screening test
- 2 years of Quality Assurance experience
- Basic knowledge on use of with common inspection tools (caliper, micrometers, microscopes, etc.)
