Reports To: Senior Human Resources Manager
Primary Function: Executes daily tactical human resources activities for all business lines and offices in support of strategic human resources objectives.
Education: BS Degree (Human Resources, Business or Communications degree) and/or a minimum of one year human resources related experience.
Qualifications:
· Entry-level knowledge of human resources principles and practices of personnel administration
· Demonstrate acceptable level of proficiency with the following software applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Possess effective oral and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
· Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and discretion.
· Able to operate successfully and responsibly with independent judgment, initiative and minimal supervision.
· PHR certification and/or human resources internship beneficial
Responsibilities:
1. Human Resources Administration
a. Coordinate completion of and prepare new hire employee and benefit files
b. Enter new hire and termination information into HRIS and related databases
c. Maintains all employee records by processing employee status changes timely
d. Assist HR leadership to coordinate quarterly new hire orientation sessions
e. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
f. Assist HR leadership in coordinating regular performance feedback and appraisal processes
2. Recruiting Support
a. Responsible for tactical efforts of recruiting process for exempt and nonexempt level positions, interns and temporary positions
b. Develop and place recruitment advertising using applicant tracking software and other outside vendors
c. Review resumes and qualify candidates compared to requirements identified by hiring managers
d. Conduct screening interviews and schedule in person interviews on behalf of hiring managers as requested
e. Complete reference requests as necessary
f. Coordinate background check process
g. Coordinate and attend college recruiting activities as appropriate and requested
