We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join our Client Accounting team and support financial operations for commercial and multifamily real estate properties.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Manage mortgage escrow account reconciliations
- Process journal entries, including accruals, depreciation, and amortization
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Calculate and distribute owner payouts
- Monitor cash flow and accounts payable
- Validate and calculate monthly management fees
- Assist with year-end audit and tax reporting
- Support new property onboarding and coordinate with prior managers
- Train and mentor accounting team members
- Handle special projects and positive pay backup
Qualifications:
✔ Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
✔ Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (real estate experience a plus)
✔ Skills:
- Strong financial statement reporting knowledge
- Expertise in bank reconciliations & journal entries
- Advanced proficiency in Excel & accounting systems
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Strong communication & collaboration skills
