Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Carry out tasks such as digging trenches, mixing concrete, and loading/unloading materials.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Support the installation of structures such as scaffolding, walls, and flooring as directed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning discussions when necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates willing to learn.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods.
