Thalle is currently seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to fill a Electrical Quality Control Technician position on a 6 Year, $375M ( ) USACE Lock and Dam project located on scenic Kentucky Lake in Grand Rivers, Kentucky. This is a full-time on-site position reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager to perform quality control inspection and product review tasks to support the site Quality Control Team. This role will interact with a variety of staff at all levels and uphold a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Overview

Duties And Responsibilities
- Inspect work during construction and during final inspection to ensure compliance with the contract documents and applicable electrical codes.
- Review installation plans and materials to ensure compliance with the contract document.
- Prepare daily field inspection reports.
- Report deficiencies to the project Quality Control and Operations Teams.
- An individual possessing an Master or Journeyman Electrician Certification or a minimum of ten (10) years equivalent experience.
- Ability to interpret complex construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to write reports using Microsoft Word or Excel.
- Ability to work with a fast-paced team in an aggressive construction environment.
- United States Army Corps of Engineers Project Experience is preferred.
- Strong ability to multitask, work independently under pressure, and within tight deadlines.
- Prior heavy civil site project experience such as water control, dam, levee, concrete, and mass excavation experience.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to move freely about a construction site that at times present a demanding terrain including, but not limited to climbing of ladders and stair towers, uneven and often wet surfaces, and slopes.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
