You will lead efforts in preparing comprehensive cost estimates by analyzing project scope, performing take-offs, and compiling data for material, labor, and equipment costs.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Licenses and certifications are preferred, and contractor's licenses are an asset. You should also have 5-8 years of experience in project engineering and project management, with expertise in estimating projects exceeding $25 million. Experience with lock and dam construction, USACE projects, mass excavation, utilities, stormwater, and other heavy civil projects is beneficial.
