Thalle Construction Co., Inc. (“Thalle”) is currently seeking a Quality Control Technician (QCT).  The Quality Control Manager will report to the Quality Control Manager and work closely with and support the operations team.  Our ideal candidate will be a team player who is highly motivated with a strong work ethic and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.  This position is located out of our regional office in Leonard, Texas.

Job Title:  Quality Control Technician

Salary:  Top pay for experienced and proven performers - (negotiable) based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the management and implementation of quality control measures during construction, ensuring project standards are met and maintained.
•    Onsite during construction, employed by the prime contractor.
•    Assist in managing the Construction Quality Control Program.
•    Maintain project documents and records onsite, as required.
•    Support the review and approval of construction submittals.
•    Participate in phases of control (Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up) for construction work.
•    Support quality control personnel and assist in reporting.
•    Experience in Water or Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP) is beneficial.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

•    Degree in engineering or construction management is preferred.
•    Minimum 1-3 years of construction experience, similar in scope to this project.
•    Verifiable experience in quality control is advantageous.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

•    Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
•    Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
•    Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
•    Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone
