The TEL Systems AV Technician position is responsible for integrating, installing, rigging, and configuring A / V systems for our professional client base. Must perform exceptional “Customer Service”.
Requirements :
Essential duties, requirements, and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Must have hands-on experience with all aspects of structured cabling : pulling, terminating, testing, Cat5e / 6, video, VGA, HDMI, audio RCA / XLR cable
- A / V rigging experience a plus such as projector, monitor and projection screen installation
- Technical knowledge and proficiency in basic MS office applications, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- We prefer industry certifications such as CTS
- Experience in troubleshooting commercial A / V installations
- Ability to read and manage schematic system flow documentation
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specific due date
- Strong personal and Customer Service Skills
- Communication skills, verbal and written
