What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outcomes Mentor Manager-Little Learners Early Education Program position at Thames Valley Council for Community Action?
JOB SUMMARY :
The Outcomes Mentor Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum that encourages self-esteem and independence for the social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs of each child while ensuring that the health, safety and nutritional education is integrated into the overall curriculum planning. The Outcomes Mentor Manager will observe Little Learners classrooms for areas needing growth in conjunction with information shared by the Ed Manager / Site Manager and ECS Manager. They will use that information along with the information collected by staff in SmartTeach to assist staff in developing learning experiences to aide in the development of the children in our care. The Outcomes Mentor Manager will set meetings with classrooms proactively as observations are assessed and work collaboratively with classroom teams to make plans to aide with success. They will also assist in collecting data needed to provide funders and other supporters to receive grants and other funding. The Outcomes Mentor Manager will have the ability to present trainings to groups in a positive cohesive manner that allow for understand and growth. They must have compassion and understanding for the needs of staff, children and families from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds.

Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or related field with 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
Associate’s degree in ECE or related field with 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
Have access to reliable, insured transportation.
Must have or obtain and maintain CT childcare first-aid, and infant and child CPR, and medication administration certification.
Provide a TVCCA Staff Statement of Good Health signed by a physician, physician’s assistant, or nurse practitioner completed within twelve (12) months before the date of employment, and every thirty-six (36) months for current staff.
Must be able to lift and / or carry a child up to 50lbs.
Minimum of 18 years of age
The TVCCA Little Learners Early Education Program requires staff to be available from 7 : 00AM – 5 : 00PM to cover center operational hours on a rotational basis.
Continue professional development per funding source requirements.
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff, parents and children.
Pyramid Model Trained or will complete training within one year of hire.
Strong computer, Mathematical, analytical skills communication skills.
