Seasonal Ashton Gardens Explorer (Tulip Festival) Job Description
Wage: $11/hour
Shift: Part time, seasonal. Mon-Sat. Fridays and Saturdays availability required.

Summary: Looking for part-time seasonal work in a fun, friendly, family environment? Come help us make this year’s Tulip Festival a success! We need high energy, outgoing people to greet guests, direct lines, scan tickets, and help with our Gift Shop sales. As a Guest Experiences Team Member at the Ashton Gardens, you will serve and interact with our guests as they discover our 55-acre garden that includes 15 themed gardens and the largest man-made waterfall in the Western Hemisphere.
Responsibilities:
Welcome, engage, help, and thank each of our guests and team members as we work together to provide a world class guest experience.
Professional, positive and productive at all times.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly environment for our team and guests.
Maintain and share your knowledge about Ashton Gardens and Thanksgiving Point.
Exemplify Thanksgiving Point’s Mission, Values and Policies.
Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Requirements:
Outgoing and friendly and able to speak clearly to guests.
Able to handle crowds and a fast-paced environment.
Interact with people in various, and sometimes difficult situations, while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Must complete “Guest Experience Training” and demonstrate excellent guest service skills and abilities.
Ability to manage time, work independently, collaborate, be proactive and complete tasks with a sense of urgency.
Able to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Able to readily learn cash register/point of sale and money handling skills.
Pass a background check.
Be at least 16 years old.
