We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle database systems. The DBA will ensure data integrity, security, and performance while providing technical support and guidance for Oracle database operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, expertise in Oracle Database management, and a proactive approach to database maintenance and optimization.

The DBA will ensure data integrity, security, and performance while providing technical support and guidance for Oracle database operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, expertise in Oracle Database management, and a proactive approach to database maintenance and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database systems (Oracle 12c, 19c, and newer versions).
- Monitor Oracle database performance, implement tuning measures, and optimize SQL queries to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure Oracle database security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform regular Oracle database backups, recovery, and disaster recovery planning using RMAN.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Oracle database architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement Oracle database structures and schemas.
- Troubleshoot Oracle database issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Automate Oracle database tasks and processes using PL/SQL, Shell Scripting, or Python.
- Implement and manage Oracle database access controls and user permissions.
- Stay updated with emerging Oracle database technologies and best practices to improve performance and security.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Management Systems (DBMS) and Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Experience with Oracle database security, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based Oracle solutions (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS for Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional - OCP) are desirable.
- May involve occasional travel for training or business needs.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and maintenance.
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies in an Oracle environment.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Oracle database management.
- Experience with Oracle Exadata, GoldenGate, and partitioning techniques.
- Requires on-call availability for critical Oracle database issues.
