Overview:
That Zen Life Wellness Foundation is a mental health agency offering outpatient behavioral health services, case management services, and community-based services in Franklin VA and surrounding areas. We are looking for full-time/part-time Certified Peer Support Professional for our Peer Support program for all counties served to provide support services to adults with severe and persistent mental health and substance use concerns in the different stages of recovery.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Must be able to develop, monitor, and maintain caseload.
-Provide direct support and guidance to individuals in need
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Offer Peer intervention services and manage high-stress situations effectively
- Utilize Recovery techniques to encourage positive behavior change
- Collaborate with Community Orgs to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Assist in coordinating services and resources for clients
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field)
- Proven experience in crisis intervention and behavioral health settings
- Strong understanding of mental health counseling principles
- Knowledge and or Lived experience in Mental health or Substance use and effective mentoring techniques (Preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
- Will Train
-Must have Reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
