Warranty Claims Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting schedule service calls as needed; Taking customer calls, scheduling Jobs, following up with job statuses, along with some invoicing.
- Analyze submitted warranty claims to determine eligibility based on product warranty terms, repair details, and customer information.
- Verify accuracy of repair orders, including parts used, labor hours and cost, to ensure proper claim submission.
- Knowledge of warranty policies and procedures to make informed decisions regarding claim approval or denial.
- Communication with dealers/customers, Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding warranty coverage and claim status.
- Submit warranty claims to manufacturers according to their guidelines, including necessary documentation and follow-up, tracking for claim approval, and reordering as needed
- Maintain detailed records of processed claims, including claim status updates and tracking information, in partnership with accounting to ensure accurate reimbursement for warranty items
- Working with Inventory Specialist, and warehouse manager to ensure parts arrive and are accounted for, and are stored safely and accurately until service can be scheduled for repair/replacement.
- Work with Controller to track when we get reimbursed for warranty items

Relevant experience:
Previous experience in a warranty administration role, preferably within the automotive, appliance, or electronics industry.
Knowledge of warranty procedures, claim submission guidelines, and industry standards.
Customer service experience, particularly in handling inquiries and resolving complaints

Hours: 40 per week, Monday through Friday
Compensation: $20-$22 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
