Position Summary: Responsible for supporting the accounting and finance needs of operations to execute projects and support company financial objectives.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Establish project-level accounting and finance processes that provide timely and accurate financial information to operations personnel.
· Oversee and train operations accountants to ensure sufficient support to project managers and operations on project cost accounting and profitability.
· Train project manager personnel on financial expectations and use of project accounting function within their organization(s)
· Review and diagnose profitability of projects.
· Collaborate with operations on profitability initiatives.
· Report operations accounting and finance information to general finance and accounting
· Contribute to pricing products and services, as requested.
· Forecast capex needs of projects with operations.
· Oversee project-level forecasting efforts of operations.
· Serve as Unanet accounting software administrator.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
· 7 Years of operations accounting experience
Required Skills:
· Strong organizational and management skills.
· Ability to maintain adherence to financial reporting schedules.
· Strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
· Understanding of organizational structure
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
· Ability to come into the office routinely, but not exclusively.
