Senior Services Developer and Kubernetes Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Services Developer and Kubernetes Specialist to maintain and optimize containerization and orchestration systems, while developing software solutions for integration with those systems. This role will focus on ensuring high availability and enterprise-grade monitoring and deployment capabilities, supporting the development of a next-generation collective training software system for the U.S. Army.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain enterprise Kubernetes systems, ensuring they are supported, patched, and optimized for both local and fielded deployments.
- Develop new features and enhancements for fielded U.S. Army training systems.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to create and refine Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.
- Build enterprise deployment and monitoring solutions for a next-generation training system.
- Contribute to software development within a codebase comprising Java, C , Angular, and TypeScript.
- Work with orchestration platforms such as OpenShift and OKD in an Agile DevOps environment.
Work Environment :
This is an on-site position located in Orlando, FL. Limited travel to company or customer-owned locations may be required. Must be a U.S. Citizen and either have an active Secret or Top Secret clearance or qualify to get one.
Required Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
