Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and behaviors.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis.
- Implement behavioral interventions and monitor progress towards goals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavioral strategies and techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay current with research and best practices in behavioral therapy and special education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience in patient care, including assessment and intervention strategies.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations effectively.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Expertise in behavioral therapy practices tailored to individual needs.
- Understanding of inhalation therapies as applicable within the scope of practice.
- Background in special education principles relevant to behavioral interventions.
- Strong skills in patient assessment to inform treatment planning.
