New York City Boutique
At The 1916 Company, we prioritize providing exceptional customer experiences, and our New York City Boutique plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. As a Boutique Inventory & Client Experience Associate, you will contribute to the success of the Boutique by implementing our customer-centric strategy. Your focus will be on welcoming customers and prospects into the “Watch” world, while enhancing the customer experience with the goals of building trust, fostering long-lasting relationships, and driving referrals and repeat business. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working in luxury retail, automotive dealerships, or hospitality.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales Operations:
• Manage and oversee inventory in the NYC office
• Coordinate and receive inventory transfers from other locations in the morning
• Merchandise product displays to ensure an organized and visually appealing environment
Complete transfers and drop shipments from the NYC location to clients and other locations
• Assist client advisors with managing appointments and schedules
Office Administration:
• Ensure the office is stocked with necessary supplies, including packaging materials
and food & beverage orders for clients and client advisors
• Collaborate with the customer experience team to prepare for events, including
liaising with building management as needed
• Assist with event set-up and ensure a seamless experience for all parties involved
• Support appointment scheduling, answer phones, and coordinate with client
advisors
• Greet clients and provide a welcoming environment, offering refreshments and ensuring a comfortable experience
Qualifications/ Skills:
· At least 2 years of previous experience in luxury retail, jewelry and watch repair; luxury hospitality environment; or
luxury automobile dealerships (New Hires will receive one-on-one on the job training)
· General knowledge, or interest, of jewelry and watches.
· Must be able to multi-task while still providing exceptional customer service.
· Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word.
· Must be able to work retail hours including weekends and some holidays.
· Excellent communication while working within a team environment.
