Overview
The 1916 Company is looking to add to their team in the Pikesville MD, location. The Jewelry & Watch Sales Associate position requires excellent personal communication skills, a desire to work in an exclusive luxury environment, a base knowledge of luxury goods (including jewelry and watches), and the technical skills to operate our internal systems. The 1916 Company is looking to add a driven professional who aims to succeed in a luxury environment while delivering the best experience to our clientele.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Guiding clients through their journey of purchasing jewelry and watches
• Merchandising the showroom.
• Communicating with clients in-person, over the phone, or via email.
• Providing an exceptional client experience in a luxury environment.
• Collaboratively work within a team environment to provide elevated customer service to our clients.
Qualifications/ Skills:
• At least 2 years of previous experience in luxury retail, jewelry and watch repair; luxury hospitality environment; or luxury automobile dealerships
• Strong interpersonal skills
• General knowledge, or interest, of jewelry and watches.
• Must be able to multi-task while still providing exceptional customer service.
• Must be able to work retail hours including weekends and some holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication while working within a team environment.
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Strong time-management organized and detail-oriented skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft office processes and basic technology skills
