Warehouse and Production Material Handler

Shift:

1st Shift – 6:00am – 2:00pm

General Description:

Performs tasks necessary to provide everyday production support to Medina Shipping Warehouse facility. Job task include picking orders using warehouse software and Narrow Aisle Reach Trucks. Packing orders and shipping orders utilizing shipping software. Material Handler must be self-motivated to keep up with the fast pace environment of the department. May also be required to assist with special projects associated with the production and shipping of product as needed. Must have good problem solving skills as well as the ability to pay attention to details associated with the job duties.

Material Handler is responsible for keeping work area neat and clean.

Work experience requirements:

• Must be able to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
• Must have strong PC Skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Narrow Aisle Lift Truck experience preferred.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License
• Strong decision making and communication skills
• Independent and self-starting
• Ability to work overtime
• Must be able to lift items up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day
• Must be able to work in a team environment

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or G.E.D.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Lift truck: 1 year (Required)
• Warehouse: 2 years (Required)
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
• Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Medina, OH 44256: Relocate before starting work (Required)
