What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Supervisor position at The Aagard Group?
Key Obsessions:
- Lead Assembly team
Hire, coach, mentor, and engage team to perform at the highest level.
Ensure team readiness and expertise through the implementation of relevant training and development opportunities.
Ensure safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Oversee machine build and test
Ensure adherence to Aagard standards, prints, and customer specifications.
Verify quality of work, validating range and functionality throughout the build.
Ensure machines are tested to meet customer expectations.
- Allocate resources effectively
Allocate resources, maintain schedule, and drive machine readiness on time.
Collaborate with Field Service and Project Management team to determine the best resource for travel needs.
Core Accountabilities:

- Recommend and implement best practices to prioritize safety, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and vendors, representing Aagard accurately and positively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Management, Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics or related field plus two years supervision experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Experience in interviewing, performance management, coaching, and developing teams advantageous.
- Experience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb.
- Must possess a Real ID or Passport and be willing to travel as necessary (up to 30%).
