What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator position at The Aagard Group?
Key Obsessions:
- Accurate material movement
Handle the receipt of purchased and fabricated parts, ensuring accurate transactions and documentation.
Perform material transfer transactions between internal warehouses.
- Inventory Accuracy
Accurately record material movement and inventory data in ERP System.
Collaborate with the team to identify inventory discrepancies.
- Assist internal customers
Provide necessary parts to the Assembly team to facilitate machine building.
Assist in locating missing parts and organizing rework parts.
Communicate with Fabrication regarding part status and issues.
Core Accountabilities:
- Foster open communication, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration while upholding Aagard's values of Winning, Together, Honorably, Passionately, and Positively.
- Recommend and implement best practices to prioritize safety, improve productively, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain professional interactions with customers and vendors, representing Aagard accurately and positively.
- Perform additional duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous shipping, receiving, and inventory experience preferred.
- Ability to operate or be trained to operate a forklift.
- Experience or training with computers and ability to learn and use Aagard specific software.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. (utilize two person assist if needed).
- Ability to walk or stand up to 100 percent of the time.
