Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Food Prep / Dishwasher to join our team! This dual role is crucial in ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and our guests enjoy exceptional meals. As a Food Prep / Dishwasher, you will play a key part in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation:
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, vegetables, and other components for cooking.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas.
- Ensure all food is handled and stored according to health and safety guidelines.
- Dishwashing:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
- Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dining areas as needed.
- Assist in cleaning other areas of the kitchen, such as floors and countertops.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwasher role is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs
