Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and flexible individuals to fill substitute food service worker positions within our school district. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning up after meals in our school cafeterias. As a substitute worker, you will play an important role in ensuring that students receive nutritious meals in a safe and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and serving meals to students and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas.
- Help with dishwashing, food storage, and inventory control.
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines set by the district.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work well with children and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass background check as required by the district.
