What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at THE ABBEY RESTAURANT?
The Abbey Restaurant in London, KY is looking for a line cook to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable. We offer competitive wages. 25-30 hours per week. Experience is a plus. We are located at 132 N Main St.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary items.
- Food preparation including knife work and operation of various kitchen items.
- Cook all menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen team.
- Regular cleaning duties as well as opening and closing tasks.
- Stock and rotate inventory.
Qualifications
- Cooking experience or Back of the House experience preferred
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
