What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Waitstaff position at THE ABBEY RESTAURANT?
The Abbey Restaurant in London, KY is looking for servers/waitstaff to join our team. Our ideal candidate is customer oriented, positive, self-driven, punctual, and reliable. We are located on 132 N Main St.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the customers are sat comfortably and have everything they need to enjoy their experience
- Providing customers with recommendations and ensuring their orders are taken correctly and promptly
- Ensuring that all meals are complete and correct as ordered prior to delivery to the table
- Ensuring that the customers have everything they need such as condiments, napkins, refills, etc.
- Cash handling responsibilities
- Delivering a great customer experience from start to finish
Qualifications
- A positive attitude and a desire to succeed
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience as a Server, Waitress, or Waiter a plus
- Flexibility is preferred
- Applicant must be at least 18 years old at date of hire (per ABC laws)
