About Us: At The Academy, we are passionate about fostering talent, teamwork, and a passion for baseball. Our team has spent the past 15 years planting the seeds across baseball and into high levels of college and professional baseball, as well as every community we have served in. Our Post-Graduate program is for those who desire to become great athletes and play high level college baseball and are potentially capable of playing at the professional level. This program is strictly for players and families who feel one more year of training with a proven group will get them to their proper collegiate or professional fit.
Job Summary:. We are seeking a highly motivated, driven, hard-working baseball coach to lead our Post-Graduate players to success in securing their spots to play college baseball. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to the development of players to achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on skill development, strategy, and fitness using “The Academy Method”
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize performance.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to players, fostering sportsmanship and discipline
- Evaluate players' abilities and offer constructive feedback for improvement
- Maintain a positive and inclusive team culture
- Coordinate with assistant coaches, staff, and administration in all pertinent situations to ensure productivity
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a baseball coach or related role
- Strong knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire players
