Pre-School Lead Educator
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to teach fundamental concepts while meeting appropriate state standards.
- Foster social skills and self-esteem through group activities and individual support
- Utilize creative learning methods (arts, crafts, storytelling, supervised play)
- Design comprehensive curriculums addressing early childhood development needs
- Establish a structured and disciplined classroom environment
- Supervise playground activities and ensure classroom cleanliness and organization
- Prepare materials and workstations for lessons
- Collaborate with parents through regular communication and progress reports
- Create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere for young learners
- Delegate appropriate tasks to Classroom Assistants
Essential Qualifications:
- Associates or BS degree or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching young children in a classroom setting
- Effective communication skills tailored to young children's needs
- Patient, compassionate, and energetic approach
- Conflict resolution and nurturing abilities
- Creative thinking for innovative lesson planning
- Passion for inspiring young minds
- Basic Google Doc / Sheet skills
