We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning and light maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, healthy, clean, and pleasant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and windows.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and other necessary supplies, as needed
- Clean and maintain classrooms and common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and break room.
- Perform minor repairs and report major maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
