The Academy of Young Scholars is seeking teachers who love the great outdoors, winter, spring, summer, and fall. We are looking for individuals who are willing to learn a different approach to early childhood education.

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing curricular goals for individual children - 6 weeks through Pre-K.
- Planning and engaging outdoor activities as a daily extension of the indoor learning experience
- Constant and consistent interaction with each child throughout the day
- Expanding learning experiences during all routines, including eating, diapering and toileting, and transitions
- Continuing education
Qualifications and Skills
- Willing to learn a different approach to early childhood education
- High School Diploma/GED required
- High Energy, positive disposition, and able to work flexible schedules
- Must love, respect, and demonstrate extreme patience with children
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to meet all requirements of the SC DSS Child Care Licensing, including Federal and State Criminal Background Checks.
- Ability to lift 10 - 30lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs
