Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. This position requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to utilize various precision measuring instruments. The Quality Assurance Inspector will work closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and PC-DMIS software for detailed inspections and reporting.
- Verify compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout the production process.
- Collaborate with machining teams to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain records for traceability.
- Identify non-conformance issues and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMM systems.
- Familiarity with PC-DMIS software for measurement data analysis.
- Knowledge of machining processes and mechanical principles is essential.
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 certified environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
