Responsibilities
- Provide first-level support for hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Active Directory, VPN connections, and network configurations.
- Utilize ticketing systems such as Remedy and Jira to track and manage support requests effectively.
- Assist users with computer networking issues and provide guidance on network administration tasks.
- Maintain documentation of support processes and solutions for future reference.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with users.
Skills
- Proficiency in Active Directory management and user account administration.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with VPN setup and configuration.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Remedy or Jira for issue tracking.
- Knowledge of computer networking principles, including TCP/IP protocols.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle technical inquiries professionally.
