Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Manage daily transport operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and enhance service delivery.
- Oversee the design and architecture of transport systems, including APIs and web services, to improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to manage projects related to transport system enhancements.
- Conduct regular assessments of transport systems for vulnerabilities and implement necessary management strategies.
- Lead a team of transport professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Analyze data related to transportation performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in transport management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, APIs, web services, and microservices.
- Familiarity with Pegasystems and Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Proficiency in system design principles and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
