Full-time
100% Remote; MUST reside in East Coast Time Zone.

Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Proposal Writer to plan, write, and deliver technical content for proposals submitted in response to Government solicitations. You will be responsible for developing and updating technical proposal content to convert technical concepts to compelling, compliant, and easy-to-understand content while adhering to industry and company proposal-writing standards. The ideal candidate is expected to have a bachelors degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in technical proposal writing.
Responsibilities
Excellent written communication skills : Ability to convey technical information clearly, concisely and with a flair for innovation concepts.
Strong research skills : Gathering and analyzing technical data to accurately document features and functionalities
Be able to write with a little marketing flair for creativity.
Be able to have a journalist flair and interview the Solution Architect to gather there over all win themes and story line for a proposal submittal
Have a clear understanding of the technical domain related to the service being documented
Attention to detail : Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and the win- theme is shown throughout the documentation.
Editing and proofreading skills, be able to correct grammar, spelling, and punctuations error
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to gather needed information to be successful
Being able to adhere to deadlines
Ability to learn new technologies that would help benefit our customers.
Finally, the goal is to have a final proposal submitted that decision makers / evaluators with different backgrounds and needs can understand that we understand their needs and have a clear innovative solution that will support them today and into the near future.
Requirements
Bachelors degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in GovCon technical proposal writing.
Possess strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, ability to visualize information, and communication with multiple audiences.
Self-starter; works effectively and productively with limited supervision.
Maintaining a strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate on a team is required.
Excellent time management and organization skills.
Solid ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet all deadlines.
