Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service.
- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting with inquiries or reservations.
- Handle guest requests or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in maintaining a positive atmosphere within the restaurant by providing excellent guest services.
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, or food service environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
