Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and specifications.
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with patrons.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.

Skills

• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing inventory.
• Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficient in food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety.
• Customer service skills to enhance the dining experience for guests.
• Experience with cash registers or retail math is a plus.
• Familiarity with café operations and food preparation processes.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
