Senior Personal Banker
Location: Florida- St. Petersburg Central
Summary: Recognize and meet client needs by proactively selling and cross-selling appropriate products and services to new and existing clients. Provides excellent customer service, performs client maintenance requests, and problem resolution. Supports the efforts and goals of the banking center through personal sales of the Bank’s products and services and use of referrals as appropriate across lines of business.
Job functions:
- Achieve sales goals by utilizing knowledge of Bank products and the clients’ needs and desires. Teach clients the merits of each product/service to help them reach the best solutions for their individual circumstances.
- Provides efficient and courteous customer services; opens new accounts, addresses client queries, and maintains existing accounts/client records.
- Prepares/processes a variety of account related paperwork and assists client(s) in the signing of documents. Ensures documentation, processing and maintenance of all client accounts is done in accordance with all state and federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
- Resolve client issues through direct action or by referral to other Bank sources.
- Perform teller functions as required.
- Assist in opening/closing procedures and maintain banking security policies to ensure proper lobby management.
- Control access to Safe deposit area and boxes based on standard procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 3 years of experience working in a financial institution as a personal banker/teller.
- Knowledgeable in financial institution operating policies and procedures and banking regulations state and federal.

- Sales goal oriented and skilled at applying proven sales techniques.
- Ability to learn the Bank’s line of products and services, relying on that knowledge to assist other associates and clients with questions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Use established procedures and guidelines with minimal supervision.
- Resolve basic client and teller questions & problems. Consult or refer more complex issues to superiors.
- Proficient with applicable computer software and has ability to learn multiple software systems for daily use.
