Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in Egg Harbor Township, United States.
In this role, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes or in healthcare facilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals, assisting with feeding when necessary
- Provide mobility assistance, helping patients move safely and comfortably
- Accompany patients to medical appointments when required
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid HHA or CNA certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Previous experience as an HHA or CNA preferred
- Proficiency in basic medical skills, including vital signs monitoring and medication administration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide personal care assistance with compassion and respect
- Knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
- Physical stamina to assist with patient mobility and perform daily tasks
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the local area
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Understanding of patient care protocols and healthcare regulations
