What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controls Engineer position at The Adecco Group?
We are recruiting for a Controls Engineer to collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure projects meet scope, budget, and schedule expectations.
Specifically, the Controls Engineer:
- Assists in feasibility studies and development of cost estimation
- Design System Architecture (PLC/HMI/DCS, I/O, networks, computer infrastructure)
- Electrical control panel design and schematics
- Instrumentation specification
- PLC program development and implementation
- Robotic programming and support
- HMI/SCADA application development and screen design
- Design, build and maintain assembly and test equipment.
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or related field and/or Associates with relevant experience
- 2 years of applicable work experience.
- Strong understanding of process control principles, PLC programming, Robotic programming, HMI/SCADA development, and industrial network communication protocols.
- Experience with electrical control systems design and schematics development
- Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems
This position offers a base salary of $85-$95K plus benefits including health, life, dental and a 401k match. Possible relocation assistance.
