What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fabrication Manager position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a large manufacturing client to recruit and hire a Fabrication Manager to oversee productions in the Nashville, TN metro area.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage the fabrication department and ensure productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee schedules, planning, budget, and resources.
- Ensure employees meet safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Supervise and guide first-line supervisors
- Conduct annual performance reviews and mentor team members.
- Contribute to budget planning, resource allocation, and workforce forecasting.
- Report production, quality, or personnel issues to the Director of Operations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 6 years of manufacturing management experience.
- Experience with fabrication processes, welding, laser cutting, etc..
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and act on reports and metrics effectively.
