What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Support Technician position at The Adecco Group?
Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a global appliance manufacturer to recruit and hire a Full Time Field Service Engineer to lead field support for clients across the West Coast. Please note this position requires 75% travel (Monday-Friday).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Visit customer sites to repair and service water heating and plumbing systems
- Provide technical guidance to customers and technicians, both on-site and over the phone
- Compose detailed reports on system performance and issues
- Train and mentor new technicians
- Work closely with engineering teams to test and improve products
- Handle customer complaints and ensure issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
- Perform inspections and coordinate start-up of systems for new installation
