Position Overview
As the Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will lead a team responsible for driving manufacturing excellence across our production operations. You will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for our connected safety devices, ensuring efficient production while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role is critical to supporting our rapid growth and continuous innovation in life-saving safety technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of manufacturing engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance management
- Drive manufacturing process readiness for new product introductions, ensuring seamless transition from design to production
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to increase yield, throughput, and productivity across multiple manufacturing lines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Quality, and Operations to resolve technical challenges and implement process improvements
- Develop comprehensive manufacturing documentation, procedures, and standardized work instructions
- Oversee the design and implementation of fixtures, tools, and equipment to optimize manufacturing operations
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and methodologies throughout production
- Analyze production metrics and implement data-driven solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- 7 years of experience in electronics manufacturing with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven success in manufacturing line design, operations management, and new product launches
- Strong knowledge of electronics assembly processes, PCBA manufacturing, and industry best practices
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electronic, and process domains
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in data acquisition and analysis
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across organizational boundaries
- Experience with connected devices, wireless technologies, or safety equipment manufacturing preferred

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
