Job Summary
The Process Technician will play a key part in maintaining the operational gains achieved through continuous improvement, and in accelerating continuous improvement projects. From assisting with our circuit board manufacturing all the way through to manufacturing and service, the Process Technician will be focused on the daily improvement and maintenance activities required to sustain rapid growth and support new products.

- You have a history of troubleshooting successes, backed by your 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or troubleshooting, and Electrical Engineering Technologist certification
- You are hands-on and prepared to get involved with all aspects of operations with a can-do attitude and collaborative spirit
Responsibilities
- Support Test Engineering with test set development, creation, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvement activities
- Support Manufacturing Engineering with process and facility improvements, and failure root-cause analyses
- Perform audits and upkeep of manufacturing and test equipment for preventative action on issues that may impact productivity or quality
- Auditing of operations processes for operator compliance and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in new product introduction troubleshooting activities and train PCBA Troubleshooters on new products
- Lead reporting activities on internal product quality
- Training of manufacturing operators and PCBA Troubleshooters in best-practices
Required Skills
- Excellent soldering skills, being well-versed in industry electronics acceptability requirements
- Excellent electronics troubleshooting skills
- Strong ability to communicate in English, verbally and in writing
- Experience in MS Office suite
- Experience with RF test, for cellular, GPS, and other bands is an asset
- Experience with gas detection is an asset
- Data acquisition and analysis experience using databases is an asset
- Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment is an asset
Safety Footwear
Candidates are required to wear certified ASTM standards to prevent injury from specific hazards. At minimum, safety footwear in our US Facilities must be 1/75 and C30 unless otherwise specified. Applicants must have access to a pair of the right safety footwear prior to starting employment.
Salary : $55,000 - $85,000
