Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The Adult Skills Center (TASC) provides innovative and proactive services that empower individuals with diverse intellectual, developmental, and mental health needs to achieve their highest level of Independence and realize their greatest potential. Under the supervision of the IT Coordinator, must communicate and work effectively with other TASC Program Coordinators / Directors (as applicable) and be able to work successfully with minimal to no supervision. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day IT requests, maintenance of existing technology systems, campaign / event support, and developing or acquiring new and critical technology systems. Technology systems include the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of all servers, networks, equipment, and data security.

Primary Duties :

Responsible for IT support needs across all TASC locations

  • Responsible for the execution of policies and procedures pertaining to IT
  • Responsible for ensuring continuity of computer services, applications, and systems
  • Update and maintain the inventory list / tracker of all technology equipment
  • Provisioning of new computers including adding all applicable programs and settings
  • Create / remove end users as part of the onboarding / off-boarding process
  • Troubleshoot computer and network issues and escalate issues to appropriate team member or service providers in a timely manner
  • Provide support to end users both on-site and via remote login / virtual meeting application / phone
  • Assist in the set-up and maintenance of company networks
  • Maintain and handle issues regarding voice telephone systems
  • Proactive with regards to end-user support
  • Work in / with low voltage spaces and devices
  • Work with the IT Coordinator on organization projects / updates / changes regarding technology and included processes
  • Utilize and maintain an end user support ticket system
  • Regular report out of troubleshooting issues handled or in queue
  • Assist in future planning solutions for the organization
  • Assist in assessing possible technology deficiencies and creating trainings as a preventative measure
  • Assist and consult in audio and video projects
  • Other Duties

Perform other duties as assigned

  • Perform other off-site duties as assigned
  • Participate in weekly meetings, trainings, etc. as assigned by supervisor
  • Qualifications :

  • 1-year minimum of information technology experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Wide array of computer competence skills including working knowledge of both Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Administration
  • Understanding of computer / network security
  • Individual must possess the ability to multitask including the ability to work independently while exhibiting excellent time management skills
  • Individual must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as good organizational skills
  • Individual must be detail oriented and flexible while remaining adaptable to change
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Must be able to successfully complete First Aid / CPR and other training as required
  • Must have current California Driver’s license / Insurance and clean DMV
  • Must receive criminal record clearance through the DOJ
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to drive for work, maintain valid driver’s license and up-to-date car insurance
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and / or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
